1. Why
a duct cleaning is needed?
The routes of air infetion are usually divided into two categories : droplat infection and
non-dust infection. Dust, one of aerosol, a particle from solidified organic or mineral
material, becomes harmful to bodies when it's under 5¥ìm. Large dusts over 10¥ìm, steam from 0.1~10¥ìm,or smoke from 0.01 to 0.1¥ìm can be problematic, too. Dusts are divided into 5
categories as follows
¨ç
animal dust : fur, leather, bone, shell, etc.
¨è
vegetable dust : cotton,
flax, grain, etc.
¨é
mineral dust : coal, rock, earth and sand, etc.
¨ê
metal dust : iron, lead, etc.
What
harmful can dust do on human bodies?
a) Dust stimulates mucous membrane of the respiratory organs and
conjunctiva of an eyeball
Iron, arsenic, Mangeness and Chromium are absorbed into respiratory, digestive organs
and skin, bring about chemical reaction toward each material's toxicity and rsult in poisoing
symptoms. Dust also intermediates infection by floating lots of bacilli such as tubercle,
diphtheria bacillus or small pox germs in the air
b)
The animal fur and pollen cause allergy. The inhabitation
of bacteria corroding iron or
non-iron results in a corrosion
To eliminate dusts and to prevent disease, duct and air conditioner cleaning is essential
needless to say.
2. How
to clean air duct?
The
main characters of our unique duct cleaning system developed especially to clean old
dusts and attached materials in air conditioning duct of a building are as follows.
Our cleaning devic is inserted into the duct and automatically moves, cleaning out dusts and
attached materials in ducts regardless of the shape and the size of the duct. No matter how
the duct is shaped : square, round or or vertical, no matter how big or small it is, our system
can completely clean it out
A. Definition
of KSAD construction method
1) investigation
Decide
an operation method after visual checking and sampling an inside pollution
status
of air condition duct
and sampling.
2) Choose
a cleaning device
Choose
a proper cleaning devices : What will connect branch duct and main duct ; What will be
used for the sucking valve, etc. depending on the shape of duct, pollution stus of inside and
size.
3) Way
of dust collecting
Install
a working hole into a main duct, cannot a collection duct, and use blower to collect
dusts from the main duct, so that dusts are not scattered outside and can be collected
simply indoors.
4)
Test
Before
operation, test on status of the pollution and take a picture, measure
collected
dust
amount, and do microorganism test. Compare test results after operation.
B. Merits
of KSAD construction method
Our
unique cleaning device has the following merits;
1)
Cleaning even a small caliber duct (100øor 200x200)
2)
Cleaning
a vertical and landscaped duct with the same method
3)
Cleaning a large caliber duct without any difficulty
4)
Lowering cost with the use of economic way to clean aduct
5)
Curtailing working procedure
C. Order
of KSAD method
1)
Cleaning sucking and discharging part (anemo, universal, etc.
chemical
cleaning after tearing off an anemo
2)
duct cleaning
Make a decision on operatiom area and indtall an open hole on ceiling or duct to
connect a dust-collecting duct.
¨ç
Cleaning the area between open hole to branch duct
Slelect the type of the cleaning device depending on the duct's shape(dimension,
angular or round) since the cleaning device should be inserted into the duct through the the open hole on it
¨è
Cleaning a branch duct-main duct
Insert the cleaning device through the open hole installed for the work
3)
Sterilization and Disinfection
Sterilize
simultaneously with cleaning inside a duct. After sterilization, insert
a cleaning
device with a spray nozzle to sprinkle a dedorant and preventives for
microorganisms.
4)
Inspection
Compare
the record before cleaning and after cleaning,
and
report the result of cleaning.
